Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As part of the store associate role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your contribution to enhancing the customer shopping experience and delivering exceptional customer service will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
• Participate in inventory management activities and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ensure document security and confidentiality.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and lifting/moving products.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
