Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays effectively.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow established company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient and accurate operation of cash register.
- Safe and proper use of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Experience in general cleaning duties.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
