Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, maintaining a clean store environment, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory management, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
  • Adhere to all company policies, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks according to company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
  • Meet local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
