Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for overseeing merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your dedication to exceptional customer service and teamwork will be essential to providing a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
- Capable of meeting company standards for cleaning and organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
