Job Description
Join ALDI as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist and become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will merchandise and stock products, operate the cash register, and maintain the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Efficient cash handling and operation of equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
