Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in taking store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies while maintaining document and data security.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately.
- Skills in using store equipment like a floor scrubber and cardboard baler.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Capable of independently and collaboratively work within a team.
- Meet all state and local job requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
