Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
  • Participate in taking store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies while maintaining document and data security.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to operate a cash register accurately.
  • Skills in using store equipment like a floor scrubber and cardboard baler.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of independently and collaboratively work within a team.
  • Meet all state and local job requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred.
