Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. This position is full-time, averaging 32-40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
• Comply with all company policies, upholding document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in retail is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
