Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital member of the store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are orderly.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold company procedures.
• Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of working independently and in a team setting.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience can be considered.
