Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is merchandised, stocked, and maintained to provide an exceptional customer experience. From cashiering to cleaning, you will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain visual displays.
  • Provide top-tier customer service and assist shoppers in their experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
  • Engage in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring inventory.
  • Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
  • Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and uphold confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Skilled in providing prompt and friendly customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to uphold cleaning and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
