Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with our team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. values in daily tasks
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
  • Adhere to security and confidentiality standards
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Customer service and cash register experience preferred
  • Ability to operate equipment and follow cleaning standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a team setting
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Retail experience is a plus
