Job Description

As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to uphold our high standards. By working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and ensure document security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe use of equipment and adherence to cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
