Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills guidelines.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise neatly.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash handling policies.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Follow company cleaning standards and policies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable.
