Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, handling cashier duties, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of our store to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Experience with equipment operation and general cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Meet all state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
