Fleet Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Prestige Fleet Services, a prominent fleet maintenance network, is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical components, and more.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and obtain parts from local vendors.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including DOT forms.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
• Valid Driver's License and self-motivation with excellent organization skills.
• Proficiency in electronic processing of work orders and basic computer skills.

Desired Skills

• High school education or equivalent.
• Certifications and welding experience are advantageous.
• CDL is a plus.
