Job Description
We are looking to hire a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager at Aldi. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and fostering team growth through training opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Communicate company values to create a sense of teamwork among employees.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to enhance product offerings.
- Participate in the interviewing process for new hires.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Resolve operational customer concerns effectively.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure high levels of customer service.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Prior retail and management experience preferred.
