Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience, working collaboratively with the team, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, stocking products, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding ALDI's high standards.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Adhere to cash handling policies, correct errors, and ensure accurate inventory.
• Follow company procedures, maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of following company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work independently or as part of a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
