Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking product, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security measures
• Perform general cleaning duties and other assigned tasks

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe handling of equipment and performing cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
