Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with team members. This position offers the opportunity to work 32-40 hours per week at a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and safeguard confidential information.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Capable of safely using equipment and performing cleaning duties.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask effectively.
• Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
