Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. You will provide exceptional customer service, collaborate with team members, and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational concerns to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and maintain security.
- Follow company policies and procedures to protect confidentiality and uphold standards.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a safe and organized store environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and various equipment.
- Work independently and within a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages (state and local).
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
