Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Report product feedback, inventory discrepancies, and other issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and uphold document security.
- Perform physical tasks including stocking, lifting, and general store upkeep.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Capable of delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness standards and follow company policies.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is considered.
