Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Job Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory issues, and suggest improvements
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
• Adhere to all company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Ensure cleanliness according to company standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• Ability to comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
• Prior retail experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
