Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by performing merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning tasks to maintain the store's appearance and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store premises, and neatly arrange shelves and merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to contribute to store efficiency.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and able to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Handle equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
• Follow company policies and procedures, communicate effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
