Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will collaborate with team members and management to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Contribute to store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
