Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by merchandising products, handling cashier responsibilities, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are orderly
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts as per guidelines and maintain inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies, uphold security protocols, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
