Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in the store's operations by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to execute general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to multitask effectively.
• Meeting state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages (if applicable).
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
