Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate working 32-40 hours per week. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. As a valued team member, you will collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, neatly display merchandise, and provide exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, maintain security and confidentiality of information
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
