Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any store-related issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies, procedures, and company guidelines to uphold security and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register, equipment, and performing general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages according to state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is an advantage.
