Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and teamwork, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and support customers during their shopping journey
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of general cleaning duties and following company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment is advantageous
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
