Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and adhere to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
