Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store's day-to-day operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases and maintain clean and organized shelves and merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers in their shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues that arise.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and maintain store security.
- Follow company policies while safeguarding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at ALDI.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
