Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall efficiency of the store operations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job requirements.
