Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will collaborate with team members to uphold store standards and deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Report product issues and inventory discrepancies to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow established security and confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent, prior retail experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
