Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and suggestions to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures for store security
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of cash registers and equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team setting
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local alcohol handling requirements

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• An equivalent combination of education and experience
