Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking merchandise, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. You will collaborate with team members and the management team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while prioritizing security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of performing general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the job demands
