Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow all company policies and maintain confidentiality of data
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Operate equipment efficiently and safely
• Keep the store clean and organized according to company standards
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Prior retail experience preferred
