Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver excellent customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and friendly customer service
• Operational skills including cash register use and equipment operation
• Capability to meet physical demands, handle alcohol sales, and maintain cleanliness standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience is a plus
