Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
