Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through efficient merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks following the outlined Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Adhere to company policies while securing data and documents
• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Capability to work both independently and in a team setting
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
