Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and collaborating with team members. Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prompt and courteous customer service skills
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Ability to safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail work experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
