Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide excellent customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize product displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock monitoring.
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document confidentiality, and ensure security.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and within a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
