Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will uphold our values and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) on a consistent basis.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize losses and adhere to company policies.
• Comply with all company policies while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning tasks.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages (as per state and local laws).

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
