Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi, where you will play a key role in ensuring our store maintains a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness within the store, while providing exceptional customer service in a collaborative environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases and maintain store cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in cash register operation and equipment handling
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus
