Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store maintains a high standard of presentation, provides exceptional customer service, and operates efficiently. Your responsibilities will include merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details

- Working Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills as required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and arrange products neatly on shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues that arise.
- Conduct store inventory counts according to guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
- Comply with all established company policies and procedures to ensure security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to work at ALDI.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Capability to handle equipment like an electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
- Experience in performing general cleaning duties up to company standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior retail experience is desirable.
