Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and stock shelves neatly.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
