Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for customers. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with all company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks and following company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
