Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. This position involves a variety of tasks from cashiering to stocking shelves, all aimed at delivering a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills required for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly display merchandise.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues that arise.
• Participate in inventory counts following guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and adhere to company procedures for data security and confidentiality.
• Complete any other duties assigned by the management team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detailed-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
