Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to efficiently operate a store and lead a team towards success. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and developing operational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations to provide top-notch customer service.
• Understand and communicate company values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain store signage and product quality standards.
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring of store personnel.
• Manage weekly schedules and establish performance expectations for team members.

• Monitor store budget targets and implement loss prevention measures.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors.
• Oversee product merchandising and inventory management.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.

• Proficiency in interpreting and implementing company policies.
• Demonstrated leadership and performance evaluation skills.
• Experience in cash register operation and equipment handling.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is advantageous.
