Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi's team. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn all aspects of successfully managing a store. Your responsibilities will include supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring superior customer service, managing staffing needs, scheduling, and implementing operational strategies while nurturing and developing the team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise store operations to deliver excellent customer service.
- Understand and uphold the company values and strategies to foster teamwork.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain store signage and product quality.
- Participate in the hiring process and conduct staff evaluations.
- Manage schedules, staffing levels, and store payroll budgets.
- Monitor competitor activities and make recommendations to stay competitive.
- Ensure a safe store environment for everyone.
- Manage merchandise display and inventory levels.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and lead a team effectively.
- Knowledge of company policies and ability to interpret and apply them.
- Experience in budgeting and managing expenses.
- Proficiency in operating retail equipment and cash registers.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to travel as required by the division.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive retail experience.
- Prior management experience is advantageous.
