Hiring Local City Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As part of one of the leading LTL carriers in the country, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations, ensuring efficient and timely logistics operations.

General Description of Duties

• Transport cargo to and from destinations near the distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using proper techniques and equipment.
• Follow specific duties and schedules based on terminal location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (training available for candidates with less experience).
• Hold a Class-A CDL with various endorsements and no automatic restriction.
• Stable work record and safe driving history.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.
