Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Local City Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team at ABF Freight in Brooklyn, NY. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo, utilizing safe and efficient driving and forklift operation practices.
General Description of Duties
- Transporting cargo to and from various destinations near our consolidation/distribution center.
- Utilizing appropriate techniques and technology for loading and unloading trailers.
- Adhering to company and DOT regulations for safe and timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Valid Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
- At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience (training available for eligible candidates).
- Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT medical requirements.
